El-cheapo top question

The existing and badly shrunken top on my '92 YJ has very nice soft rubber weather stripping around the perimeter of the front windows that achieves a very good seal, much like hard doors would. Actually, the rubber trip is affixed to the door window skins.

I'm considering the ~ $275 el-cheapo tops available on eBay and elsewhere, but wondering if I assume correctly that those tops will come with no rubber weatherstripping whatsoever.

At what price level, if any, do new tops come with that weather stripping?

what weatherstripping are you talking about? the only weatherstripping on the soft tops I've had is around the upper half doors and the pavement ends top I had and the bestop replace a top I have now both have it.

Perhaps. But if that's the case, what good are you?
