Which is easier?

I have two sets of axles for my yj. The one set is complete just bolt it on and I would be ready to drive. But...it has 3.07 gears. The other set needs seals, vacuum motor, axle ujoints, dust shields, ball joints and I would have to take the steering linkage from the first axle too. This axle has 3.54 gears. So theses are the gears I want for how I am going to drive, mainly on the road.

So which is easier....fix all the crap wrong on the axle with the gears I want or swap out the ring and pinion gears into the axle that is ready to go?

fix the other ones if you are not experienced in changing gears.
