i had one on my old 2.5l headers and catback sounded good, dont know about power dif bc i bought it like that

That is basically what I have. I bought the muffler and had my buddy at the exhaust shop order the tail pipe, and removed the cat (yes, I know. Send the EPA storm trooper's to come get me). It is loud without the cat. Plus the sound out the tailpipe had a kinda whish to it. I didn't like that. When I dropped my fuel tank and patched my rear frame I cut the pipe off after it went over the axle and started heading straight back. It sounds better. I haven't had any problem with exhaust in the cab with my hard top on or with billowing in with no top. Oh, and that is illegal too. The pipe is supposed to exit from under the vehicle aft of the rear most passenger seat.

I bought one for mine about 2 months ago.
Still haven't seen the rebate...
Sounds good, though, and it looks nice.
I would recommend welding it together, mine leaks as the slip joints were pretty loose.
