Yeah, I took some pictures of the driveshaft, but it keeps freezing my computer. Its not on the jeep, but you can still see the wear on the shaft of how far it moved.

So on the one picture, you can sorda see how far it moved out. And the other one is the weight.

I can't really tell too much from the pics to be honest. I say get some new u-joints for the time being, install it, then take pics of the driveline. What is exactly wearing out? The u-joints on the t-case side or pinion side? Do you have play in the yoke on the tail of the t-case?

Well i guess its not really wearing out, but you can tell how much my the end of the driveshaft that goes into the TC is sticking out from where it was when i was stock. But the new ujoint is in there now, I just need to drill the bolts outta the yolk, and buy new straps. hopefully will have it done by tomorrow night.

Im gonna be pissed if I break it again.

That's not very much shaft going into the back cone of the transfer case... Once you get everything put back in we need you to take hold of the driveshaft and see if you have got play going into the transfercase... It shouldn't move at all side to side, obviously it may move in and out but lateral movement is a problem... Obviously it failed on the pinion side of the driveshaft otherwise you wouldn't be drilling bolts out od the yoke haha...
Anyway your weights look fine but that shaft needs to be further in your probably only covering a few inches of spline.. The t-case lowering kit should put more of your yoke back into the transfercase.

I just looked at the picture again and I'm willing to bet that's your problem... You've probably got that yoke only going half way on to the main shaft of the transfer case. When you were off road and flexing even a little bit, the slipyoke would have done it's job and pulled out of the t-cSe even further to allow for travel in the rear suspension... Once you only had a little bit of spline holding it could have EASILY twisted the yoke bolts off... You are lucky it didn't pop off the spline and break your rear cone... That happened to me an three weeks later I had the slipyoke eliminator haha. Anyway, check for that play going into the transfer case.

I don't understand why your slip yoke is extended out that far with no lift? Do you have extended shackles?

I am just not on it for this thread. I know its been said before but your only options are SYE, or t-case drop and MML. For the SYE you can find some decent prices. For the rear driveshaft you can always modify an XJ front shaft.

For the SYE you could do the hack n' tap.

You might can get away with putting larger spacers in between the skid and frame but be careful how thick you make them.

Yeah, i will def save up for the SYE, and talk my parents into it. haha

I most likely be going to a junkyard very soon, so i will look for driveshafts while im at it. Is there any type I need to look for? and its a front shaft right?

You can always drill out the yoke ears and put u-bolts in it.
