Burned out bulb?

Could also be the flasher, if I remember correctly, I think that there are 2 of them in the fuse block.

His: '00 WJ 4.7 Limited- Some stuff

So you turn the signal on and the light comes on but it just doesn't flash?

That sounds like the flasher to me, unless I misunderstood you.

IIRC if it's this way on the jeep, but one flasher controls the right and left signals, the other flasher is for the Hazards... I could be thinking of one of my other cars though....

Sounds like a burned out left signal to me, turn on the headlights and hazards and walk around looking for a dim/burned out one -- don't forget the side marker

Check to make sure both the front and back bulbs are lighting up...
If one is burned out the other will just light but not flash... Not enough current to trip the flasher...

Sorry to hi-jack the thread but i have a similar issue. My rear driver side works and flashes fine, but the front light and the dash panel light do not come on.

Thoughts?

2012 Wrangler. Stock, for now.

Oh yeah!! Lots of thoughts, but some are politically oriented and I will keep them to myself here!

For the lights on the dash, I had an issue with mine. My signals blinked outside but the indicators would not inside. My bulbs were good inside too, I had recently changed them and tested them too. What I had to do to fix them was take off the cover over the lights, two screws in a hard to get at angle above the steering wheel, and then I removed the cover over the speedo and tach, a few more screws above and below them too.

With all the plastic removed the pod or blister that the lights are in is exposed. You can then take out the two or three screws that hold it to the metal which will let you pull it away far enough to get your hand behind it. I am sure there is a modular plug some place behind the dash to let you take the pod/blister off, but I did not look for it because I had enough room to work. If you do not, take a look under and release the cable from any fasteners or clips to get some slack. You only need an inch or so if that much.

With all this done I turned on the turn signals and just wiggled the fittings behind them until they came on. I did the left first, got it working and then the right. With them both okay I held my breath and carefull put the pod/blister back in place and reassembled the dash. Weeks later and I am still okay.
