Door Speakers

I'm thinking about installing in-door speakers.
I don't care about taking off my doors, and this seems to be an ideal location.
Any problems with this installation?

If you do it, put a molex connector between the door and the body, that way if you do decide you want to remove the doors in the future, it'll be easy to do and the next owner will thank you for it.

As for complications with installation, you'll want to measure the depth of the door. Wrangler doors are pretty thin and may not accommodate flush mounted speakers. You may have to surface mount the speakers.

Your windows may hit the speaker if you mount them inside the door. They go quite low. There's many speaker options, including custom dash's.

X2 on adding a connector. I've seen a couple installs of power windows installed the same way.

I have half steel ones and the previous owner put speakers in the door..They seem to work good and disco quick with the right connections..

Me personally i like a good sounding stereo and the useless dash ones dont really cut it..I say go for it.
