Dome Light

This maybe a stupid question but,
I have a hard top on my '90 Wrangler. I am just curious how the Dome light works. Where is the switch located (thought it was the switch next to the rear wiper switch?) and anything to check why the light doesn't work? I replaced the bulb and nothing?
Any help would be appriciated... Thanks in advance...
Allan

the round scroll nob on your dash lights will make them come on when you turn it.Not sure which way but if you make your dash lights brighter and keep scrolling it should come on.
Some people unplug the pin switch by the doors. They do this because if they use soft half doors the dome will stay on.So you may check out this option also. And 2 make sure the plug is pluged into the hard top.It should be
on the driverside back corner.hope this helps

Thanks, I will check that out today and let you know what happens. I know forsure that it is pluged in. I will try the dimmer for the dash and see if that is it... Thanks again.

Guys, check to make sure your pin switch is well grounded also. I was having similar prob, and removed switch, scrapped paint from spot where it contacts door frame and reinstalled. it solved the problem, and also made the light MUCH brighter. to turn on the light you should be able to rotate the wheel/knob to the detent and then click on the overhead light.

Upon Further inspection, The dome light fuse is blown... I will see if this helps and then go from there...
Thanks

I bought a new 20 amp fuse for the Dome light on the Fuse box and everything works now. Thanks for all the help.
