I went with the Teraflex. DC4WD sells the whole kit wtih drag link and tie rod included for $400. best thing you can buy.
I have a D30 with 4.88's, lockrite and teraflex kit for $800 if you want it!

For a D30?
JB looks to be pretty cheap but I don't know what it comes with (steering linkage, etc). I ran the MORE kit on my leaf sprung XJ and was happy with it. if I did it all over again I'd go with somethign I could use tie rods on though B/C the HEIMs in the MORE kit got noisy after deep mudding and were not greasable.

BUILT. NOT BOUGHT.

the MORE kit is nice but why spend $400 on that dana 30?
gt the jb arm and drag link... it's $200.... then take the other $200 you saved and buy some beer and chicken you can then have all your jeep buddies over for a BBQ, feed them, and have them install the steering for you so you don't have to get your hands dirty ![]()

i have the JB4x4 steering correction kit (http://www.jb4x4.com/products.htm)..... it works for me and was relatively cheap..... $140 without the drag link (like every body else here, i'm on a budget)
here's a few pics:this isn't the drag link they send, i had mine lengthened: ![]() Close up of the bracket: ![]() top of it: ![]() from underneath: ![]() that is SOA+ 2" springs by the way.

More
I have installed both Tera and MORE kits on YJ SOA. The MORE kit is a little overpriced. If you go with the Tera kit, do not use the ridiculously huge aluminum arms, they can cause clearance issues. I believe the Tera kit with some smaller steel links would be good. With the Tera you cannot mount the drag link TRE on the bottom of the knuckle because it hits the springs. If you mount it on top of the knuckle it WILL hit the bottom side of the frame at full stuff. The problem is how far off the knuckle the huge 1 ton TREs sit. Heims might make for more clearance but most people don't like heims in steering links on daily driver rigs. Hope this helps.

Are you familiar with double sheer? If not - you have a few things to catch-up with about design strength and why the JB and MORE kits are VERY different in strength and are not to be compared as apples to apples. ![]() |

SOA high steer
the MORE kit has different levels so you have to explain what you got for $400. Don't be too concerned with the "I don't spend good money on little axles" argument because when you step up to Dana 44, 60 whatever there will always be people waiting to buy your old parts. Jeep parts have excellent resale value. Some people stop at 33s, others stop at 35s, and then there's people like me.

I have been running the MORE kit for about 1.5 years. The heim joints have not been an issue, and I drive it to work about half the time. My only issue with it has been the location and strength of the tie rod. Even flipped to the top of the stock arms, it is still too low for serious rocks. I have bent (and straightened) my tie rod on each of my last two outings (I know... get a better spotter). I called MORE to see if they make a stronger tie rod, but they don't. They suggested sleeving mine with larger tubing.
