Do TJ seats fit into YJ brackets
I am looking at some used TJ seats to go into my 94 YJ. Will the seats bolt onto the sliders? Would I have to modify the brackets, if so?

I asked the same question awhile back. Here is what I was told. Its not a bolt in procedure, you have to make several cuts and welds to the floor bracket and seat mount. I decided not to. Do a search someone had posted some pics how to do it.

As mentioned above a lot of modifications to seat brackets and then you'll find out that the tj seats are much higher in the headrest and will not allow the seats to fold forward without hitting the roof.

Could I just throw this out there to anyone? Does anyone know of any seats that DO swap into a YJ easily, besides Chevy Cavalier seats? I would like something a little more...uh...not out of a Chevy Cavalier.

Friend of mine said his '95 Pontiac Grand Am GT seats were bolt up! Hope this helps!
