Do 4 cylinder YJ's have any advantages over 6?

I just got a great deal on a 4 banger and wanted to know. Also it has 98000 kms. Is this getting too high for a 1995?

A buddy of mine has a '94 that he is thinking of selling. It currently has 150,000km on the clock.

My '95 Cavalier has 127,000km on its clock.

Your Jeep having under 100,000 is very good .. looks like it was driven only on sunny days

Where in Canada are you located?

If you take care of it it will last you a lifetime...on advantages, besides weight, the sunday driver will reap the benefits of better gas mileage...but not by much. I would say go with the 6, I was looking at 4's because of price but was patient and found a great 6. good luck!

The most significant advantage of the I-4 over the I-6 is that the I-4 trucks came from the factory with 4.10:1 gears. I-6's came either with 3.07 or 3.73 gears.
