DIY Gas tank skid plate help?

I am looking to build a gas tank skid plate for my 95 YJ. I have done some searching on here but have had no luck so far. Could someone please help me out here? I am looking for dimensions also.

That link is awesome. Really takes the guess work out of building one!

Looks like I figured out what I'm working on next.

Haha. Let me know how your build goes. I need to make one myself. I'm thinking 1/8 inch plate still cut and welded to fit around the tank with holes drilled.

Don't forget to tip your waitress.

That site has been around for a while, but at another location. It went away completely for a while so I would save off everything there now in case it disappears again.

Not to worry, that just happened because the original site was running of a PC at home. I lost the old domain (one of those free ones anyway) when I switched to a proper hosted service. Anyway, glad it helps.

Not many things I can think of to build for it now but open to suggestions.
The only things that come to mind are:
  • New oil pan skid if I change my down pipe to stock config.
  • A set of Safari doors maybe.

Mobility you the man. I love the fabbing and how well you documented it. I was going to build you tank skid and had the drawings without the demensions.
