YJ's are Wranglers and are differentiated from the CJ and TJ the rectangular headlights. Rectangular headlights look good on the XJ as well. Both versions of these Jeeps make sweet rides and are very capable off -road. I own both versions and plan to wheel them for a long time.

it says that cause yj is the real wrangler , THE BEIGNING of the wrangler. plus 10 years from now every jeep will have round lights, like now . and when it comes down the road they will say here coms that classic yj. p.s not only the lights are not round but it is also the only jeep made with a slight bend in the grill, what a class act.

Except that it isn't the only Jeep ever made with a bend in the grill

in Canada, they couldn't call the YJ a "Wrangler" because that name was being used by Chevrolet as a trim package (like Silverado, Tahoe, etc) so they just called it '"YJ"
