Its ok. I am a huge Cherokee advocate. I always have to remind wrangler guys that jeep wouldn't even be in business still if the Cherokee hadn't saved their butt in the 80s by starting the SUV craze and continuing it, basically unchanged for 15 years

Nah, if you read about vehicle trends in history, the jeep Cherokee is a very important player and trendsetter for the SUV craze in the 80s that ford, GMC, and the imports spent years trying to copy

The XJ makes the best and worst cars of all time list. That's a pretty good accomplishment IMO haha

Agreed.

I was kidding before, I actually drive a '92 XJ as my daily driver. It's a 4.0L/AX-15 two door 2WD model I bought for $200 three years ago. Since then, I've done one oil change and nothing else. It's sort of an experiment in how long it can go being driven like I stole it, with 31x10.50's and 1 working brake (left front) while ripping 25 feet of rubber in 1st gear and chirping second on 3.07 gears in a Dana 35 as often as I feel like it.

Yeah, I'll miss it when it's gone.

Max
