diagnosis of some sounds

Greetings again!

So after I've been driving my Jeep like crazy through the snow this winter I have started to notice somethings that is making me a little worried. First I drive it up my driveway which is a half a mile straight up a mountain so I use chains to get up. Each trip up im really gunning the engine to get it up because my four wheel drive is also broken.

With that being said, i dont know if that information could help with diagnosing this problem.

First, I have a really loud squeaking, like the kind of a belt. Could this happen if the belt keeps getting wet with snow or is this an idicator its about to break?

Second every once and a while on the road but mainly on my driveway I start feeling my Jeep jerk forward while driving.

Thirdly and most important to me, when i get my car to the top of our driveway the front makes a gurgling sound like there is not enough liquid somewhere and its making almost like a clicking sound when driving it up the driveway. Im going to check my fluids today and make sure everything is full.

For those of you that have experience on Jeep YJ's(1988) what do you think?

Thanks for your help!

Im wondering if you have a frozen pulley causing the belt squeal. Check the water pump first cause that might also explain the gurgling your talking about. Not sure about the surging forward issue.
Also, fix that 4 wheel drive. There are some basic troubleshooting tips here on the forum. It will save a bunch of wear and tear on your rig.
