Dana 30 dust cover

My drivers side dust cover thingy on the end of my axle is rattling. I believe it should have a spring or something similar underneath it. What is this part called? Where can I get one?

Further out. The metal cap on the very end. Theres a spring or something behind it that prevents rattling.

Negative. Outside the spindle. If you look at the wheel with it mounted on the jeep. Dead center of the end of the axle.

There's a nut, lockcover and cotter pin.

Just tap it with a hammer and punch til it sits flush. Or you can twist the cotter pin. Personally, I would take it all apart and make sure there isn't any slop in the bearing where it affixes to the shaft. Hammer should do fine though.

Tap the flimsy metal rattling cover until it conforms to the nut behind it. Or twist te cotter pin so it puts pressure against it
