cylinder head woes

picked up the head from the shop today, cracked between intake and exhaust valves seats on #4 cylinder. all the parts suppliers around here get their rebuilt heads from moores, who says they dont have any cores to rebuild which equals me not being able to get one.
you guys have any sources where i can get a rebuilt head
thanks

Try a salvage yard or craigslist or Ebay.

try cylinder heads.com i rebuilt my engine last year and could not source oversize valves to rebuild my head. my head casting #3661 is not easy to find but they had it cost to my door was about 330.00. you have to have the same head to send back as core they pay the shipping for that up front. when i got mine i tore it down and measured every thing ,they did an exellent job.the only thing that was not good was the new viton seals they used, i started blowing smoke after the first ten miles,i went back in and swapped them out with oem style umbrella seals, felpro brand made of teflon and nylon a little more money than the plastic ones but worth it. my heap runs awsome

good luck
