BTW coyote, that dash looks awesome! I saw this thread when you first posted it, but had forgot about it since. I definitely want to do a dash like that in mine, whenever I get some time and money.
wb2510, yours looks pretty nice too!

I'm military and most military vehicles are combat start (eg. no keys just push button or switch) so that is what I'm sort of used to. 95% of the time the jeep is on base. I do have a hidden master switch to deter thieves.
It is so nice at the end of the day to just get in the jeep snap the belt and go click, click, boom and drive away. Especially if the doors are off. 2 seconds and I'm rolling. Chris[/QUOTE] Looks good. What is your job i am also military. I have to laugh every time i hear somone say Aircraft Aluminum. There is all kinds of aluminum on aircraft. |

Yeah, I deal with aluminum on an almost daily basis. I work at a CNC machine shop and just about everything we machine is aluminum. Mostly 6061. I'm sure that aircraft use more than one type, they all have different applications.

Its like they think they can charge more if they call aircraft grade alumunum. but i dont see the products made from stainless call it aircraft grade stainless steel. Each number means some thing there fore it has differant properties. Like the 5xxx series is mostly used for general thing. and 7075 6061 2024 are used on aircraft along with some 2056 which is a cast.
