Curious as to how much I should ask for my YJ

Hi, I have a 94, 4.O, with 5 speed manual tranny, it has like 47,000 miles on it, I have a full soft top and hardtop, it has a chrome grill and bumperetes, everything is completely stock except for the sound system, it's green by the way, i'm thinking about putting it up for sale, but i'm not sure how much I should ask for it, what do you guys think? Thanks for any replies.

look in your local want ads and papers -- anywhere you can find jeeps for sale and see what the pricing is in your area. where are you located by the way??
YJ's vary in price regionally -- I would say it is easily a $5k YJ -- you may have to advertise it for a while to get that kind of $ for it but what the heck, go for it!!

location is defanitly a factor, if it is a jeep from up north, people will think it may have some rust issues, if it doesn't and its a northern jeep, it will be worth that much more. If you go in there and get rid of some of the rust yourself...could increase the value immensley.

One world for you. EBAY!!!!! Jeeps with that low of miles if they do not have any rust can bring big money. You might get as much as 5500-6000 out of it. That is going to be on the Retail end. Trade it (this is a guess) They will prob. try to hit you aroud 3800. You selling it on the street 4800. Just a simple mans thinking.
PS. Pull the hard top off and sell it seperate. It will bring another 500 if in good shape guessing it is with the low miles on the jeep. Does it have full doors? If so yank them off find some half doors and there is another 750 in your pocket.

You'll have to offer a discount for the chrome grill and bumperettes though

Thats no joke!! Better add some chrome tube bumpers to make it an official mall crawler. Maybe some mud flaps and some fuzzy dice. I passed a YJ the other day with some latino wheels on it lowered. They must have been 20" wide. It made me cringe.
