If you are asking/wondering, is it just like an Explorer 8.8 - the answer is no.
I posted in a thread some time ago, a long list of what's different about a CV 8.8 & Explorer style 8.8.

I know that it only has the 28 splines but can it be mounted under the yj?

I took the DBs from one of these and the calipers are the same for each side. That meant that the e-brake cable route had one coming from the front and the other coming from the rear. I didn't use them.

No. It's not what you need. And you didn't search, or you would know this, since the 8.8 swap threads are pretty clear about it needing to be a specific year Explorer.
Hell, the Vic may be the wrong length too.

The technical advice you get from me here is worth exactly what you paid me for it. Warranty issues will be reimbursed at double what you paid me for the advice.

I did search, ***. I know all about the explorer it needs to come from. I just wanted to know if it would work since it is only $50. But yes I did search, go get some square head lights.

yes you can mount it but
1. has a 5x5 bolt i think but i know it's not 5x4.5
2.28 spline
3.no after-market axle support so you have to keep the 28 spline
4. it has a even more off-set on the pinion

Where on Camp Pen? I used to be in the Del Mar area on Camp Pen, back in the day. My barracks were not too far from the Amtracs area, near the Del Mar gate.
