as long as its a forged crank an they guarantee it the supplier shouldnt matter, just check all the journals for out of round and taper when you get it, and check the whole thing for run off

Yup, thats where I got mine from. Might want to give them a call and have them confirm that they do have the 258 cranks with the 2" snout in stock. I ordered mine and they thought that they did have them, turns out that people had been sending CJ cranks with the 2 1/2' snout back as cores. For the mix up they sent me a free spacer. Came with oversized bearings to match the journal grind.

A forged crank is unnecessary, and you will pay out the wazzo for one. If you want a really nice one, Scat makes new ones, that Mopar as well as Golen are using in their crate strokers.

Try Dover Cylinder Head Inc - 2539 Sullivan Road - Atlanta, Georgia 30337
(800) 541-1767 - (404) 768-1825.

Good quality parts at good prices. Have gotten cylinder heads from them several times over the years and never a problem.

418 miles on 19 gallons of gas. Can't beat the BBD !

So did you use Clegg? I am getting ready to pull my 4.0 out and take it to them for the 4.7 and a head job. Have not heard any bad things and for me they are somewhat local.
