turn the key to the on position... dont try and start it.. keep watch for the check engine light (should come on right away and then go out in about 3 seconds) if it does then the computer is good... if it doesnt come on right away.. wait (could be up to 2 minutes) with the key on for the light to come on... you will hear a few clicks etc when the light comes on... then turn it to start..

report back on your findings

Start with the basics. Check your codes and post back what you find:
http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f12/h...codes-1257145/
No rpm is a cam(Distributor pickup) or the more likely issue(Since rpm indication comes from the CPS) The crank position sensor.

Here ya go. Would first investigate the possible fault for your fuel pump

Code 76-Ballast bypass relay-open or short in fuel pump relay circuit.
Code 35-Radiator fan control relay circuit-open or short detected in teh radiator fan relay circuit.

Sorry. The codes you are throwing can only be there because the ecu was swapped out at some point. No big deal. It is from an XJ. Back to the issue it sounds like the crank position sensor if you don't see rpm.

Did the rpms on the gauge drop out before the stall? I think you are describing a fuel issue but I have a couple things to try. Disconnect the battery for a 10 count. Try and start and run. Next disconnect the temp sensor at the tstat and the O2 sensor. Run it and if it doesn't make a difference shut it down and disconnect the battery. Last and what I really think is bad you need to go rent the pressure gauge from the borrow program at the parts store and see what your fuel rail pressure is. You should see 31 psi. Let it idle until your problem happens.
