crank position sensor location '90 2.5L ?

Just curious where this little bugger is located. I don't have access to a manual today.

My 95 2.5 was located at the bell housing, top, just to the driver side of center.

So it is servicable from the top of the engine? Man I wish I had the f'ing repair manual here.

Crawl under the driver's side and look up. You will see a wire coming off the top of the bell housing. It is right there.

Yeah, you have to crawl under your Jeep for this one. The wire was the worst part for me.

Old thread I know, but I have stalling probs, and it looks like I don't have one of these? Are they obsolete if Nutter's been done??
