Craigslist look out list

Been looking on craigslist at jeep parts and such. And was hoping a more knowledgeable member could supply or write up a list of parts to keep an eye out for. You know tranny models, transfer cases, things of that nature. Ever little bit counts

I think you should start by telling us what you want to do with your jeep. Then YOU can make the decision as to what to swap. It seems that the "Future Modifications" list seems to sum it up. Look for that stuff first.

Looking for dependability/ reliability first and foremost, it is used as my DD so some on road manners would be nice. The plan is to use it as a mild off-road rig i.e mudding around the farm. Some lighter rock trails around the Ohio and surrounding states and camping. I've been reading all I can on rear axles, ford 8.8 and the 14bolt. As for front axles not quite sure what i should be looking for same for tranmissions, and Xcase.
