CPS removal

Does anyone know the trick to getting a CPS (crankshaft position sensor) off a '95 YJ 2.5L? I've removed the two nuts that hold it in place, but can't figure out how to remove it (the sensor doesn't seem to have enough give to pull it away from the bolts it's mounted on).
