Corner Guards

I'm looking for steel, not diamond plate, corner guards for my 95 but can't seem to find them for the YJ. Will guards made for a TJ work or is the tailgate different? I'd like to relocate the fuel door so getting a TJ guard that has the hole pre cut would make a great template. I was just unsure if the right side guard would be different from the YJ right side. Even if they don't have the holes pre cut, I'd prefer the flat metal over diamond plate. Anyone know where I should look?

I got mine from MetalCloak... They've got the rear filler pre-cut already though. You may be able to have them not cut it?

Keep in mind that The TJ ones will have the filler hole in the side. Unless you swap your over to a TJ style, they won't be a bolt on for you.

The links I have posted before have the short corner guards like you want.

I've been trying to figure out which set to go with as well.
I've got a set of White Rhino TJ flares coming, so I probably need the TJ guards.
Ideally, I would like TJ guards without the fuel cutout.

Just get the YJ ones and cut them to fit. Its easier cut the yj ones to fit the tj flares than it is fill in the tj fuel cut out, and add a hole for the yj filler on the tj guards. if you want to with corner blanks a few companies offer those as well such as gen right.

Read the original post. He wants to relocate the filler to the TJ location.

The TJ guards will fit perfectly, the only thing is that they have wider cut-outs for the tail gate hinges. No big deal.

Black '91 YJ, pretty much stock for now. Finished engine rebuild. Runs beautifully.

I have the Poison Spyder guards for a TJ on mine, you can see the notches for the hinges are bigger......
