Corbeau Moab seat adapters?

So I put in a set of Corbeau Moab seats and realized my sliders are shot and my risers are fairly rusty. Those of you who own these seats do you use the stock sliders/risers or did you buy the corbeau ones? Since I'm buying new ones I figured I see which was better.

Thanks

i just re-used stock..if you do buy the new riser, let me know how you like it. one thing with mine is the drivers seat leans back to far in it's furthest upright position.

Do your seats sit higher then stock?

Moab seat adapters

I just bought and installed Corbeau Moab seats on my stock jeep seat brackets.
I found them to be way to high and they also leaned back too far.
I bought the Corbeau seat brackets and they are much better than stock, it moved the seats down where they should be.
I actually put 3/8" shims under the front floor mounts and they are now just right.
From my point of view they are great seats and Corbeau customer service was very helpful.

Moab seat adapters

I will check it tonight when I get home. I think the Corbeau seat adapters sit about 2" lower than the stock adapters but I will verify.

Does the adapter replace the slider as well? Or do I just put my slider onto the adapter?

I too found my seats a bit higher than stock

Im curious as well, I put some cheap seats from oriellys on my stock risers and my head almost touches the top. Im building a full blown cage in that wrangler and well just build it to where the seats mount to the cage so I'm not worried there. However, I would like to get some better seats like the Moabs for the daily driver wrangler but once again I'm worried about them setting to high.

Corbeau Moab seat adapters

I measured my stock jeep seat brackets with sliders and compared that with my Corbeau seat adapters with sliders and the difference is almost 3".
The angle of the Corbeau seat adapters is a much flatter angle. I ended up putting shims under the front between the bracket and floor that are about 3/8" thick.
For me that ended up making the seats perfect. When I talked to the guy at Corbeau he said their seat brackets were designed to make their seats and brackets slightly lower than stock Jeep.
Hope this helps!

Wow!!! That is AWESOME. I'm 6'5 and have been struggling with finding seats that will work for me in my Jeep. Sounds like Corbeau just got my business for life.

I put in some Empi RaceTrim suspension seats last week and had a similiar problem. The stock seat bases have almost a 15 degree tilt to them and most of the after market seats have a bunch too. Felt like I was laying back and really pushing agains the seat when I hit the brakes. (I'm 6 ft)

I took the cheap way out and took a nice pie shaped slice out of the drivers side seat bases (about 1.75" in the front). That reduced the angle to around 7 degrees and the seats sit pretty close to the way the stock seats did.

real old jeep, which race trim seats did u get, im about to order mine and im a little skeptical on whether to go with the standard or the wide. They look just like the mastercraft rubicon seats and i like the way those feel im just trying to get somebody elses opinion on the width as i am 5'11" and 225lbs. Thanks
