Commando Grill on a YJ

I was thinking about putting a commando grill on to my YJ, what would be required to do so. I know it is essentially a "CJ grill with wings" so could I use CJ fenders to make it easier or would that not make a difference? There were threads on this before but they're old and the pictures won't show up for me.

the hood is the hard part. My dad had a jeepster. they have the short CJ5 hood length so you would need to get the jeepster hood lengthened or if you have a 4 cyl maybe you would move the radiator back. not sure.

Do you think I could still use my YJ fenders? I have a 4cyl so there's definitely some room

they might be on the long side but shouldn't be hard to modify. if you can get a whole jeepster front clip that might be your best bet.

superlift or some big company had a nice aluminum YJ with a MB grill. I'll try to find the pictures. I was never crazy about the Jeepster grill. I wanted to put a YJ clip on my dads but I never got the chance.
