Combat rims=genius!

I know these are not new news but I find myself marveling @ combat rims again today.Pure genius and I thought some of you might enjoy the vid

basically the predecessor to the current 2-piece Hummer wheels... which you can get with new centers with your choice of bolt pattern and backspace (within the allowances of the shell anyway)

I find a lot of what we use these days is all based on the fundamentals of much earlier inventors. Had we kept pace maybe the flying car world of the Jetsons would be a reality by now. Computers were even in the basic stages in ww11,in fact IBM played a roll in cataloging Jews for Hitler with their first computer, way back then [not good].
In all fairness tho our neon wheel paint is brighter in the "modern" age!

Does anyone else find it odd that he moved so fast? I mean when he was tightening up the bolts and pumping up the tire.. It was crazy fast
