Color Change

I currently have a black YJ but the paint is all scratched to hell and I'm going to repaint soon. I have been thinking of doing a color change however but Im not too sure as to what color. I have spoken wioth many people and yellow seems to be the popular answer, but I also want something very uncommon that looks great. Ive seen a metalic silverish color, and a redish orange as well. Just looking for advice.

Just my opinion, but I'm so sick of friggin' yellow. Every TJ on the road is that fugly Solar Yellow.

Go w/ something cool and original if you're going to take the time and $$ to repaint it.

yellow is good but not too original plus when it fades it looks like crap.

i saw a really nice metalic blue jeep the other day.

ORANGE, its not Yellow, its fun, nobody has an orange 4x4!, I've been thinking if i ever painted mine, what I would do?; and I saw the infamous 'MANGLER' site and he has a Orange jeep, it's just a great color thats overlooked.

...that or just Herculine the whole dang thing!

I'm trying to decide between orange, olive drap, or a deep purple. I'm going to try to do it this summer.

I love the idea of a purple Jeep - in fact, I have thought about painting mine purple as well.

One guy here in town has done up his Jeep, purple body with chrome / stainless accents, 33" tires and he wheels it hard!

I agree, I think it would look pretty bad-a$$. There's a guy on JU w/ full width axles and huge tires and a purple YJ and it looks sweet. (I'm secure in my masculinity to be able to drive a purple YJ)

If you're gonna go orange, go with a reddish orange, otherwise it'll look like a pumpkin
