clutch quick connect fitting!

Is there a way to replace the quick connect fitting so i do need to have it there. Mine is pretty mangled from the P.O and I cant get it off. I don't want to replace the plastic line if I don't need to. Is there some way to piece in a section of steel brake line from the slave to the plastic?

Not that I know of looks like you will end up replacing the line.

Is it leaking like it is or just look bad? If it works run it until its bad.
