Clutch pilot bearing for a 4.0

I rebuilt a 4.0 in a 93 wrangler earlier this year and while I was in there we bought a new clutch kit while the engine was out. I was getting the clutch ready to go on the engine but neither one of the pilot bearings that came in the clutch kit would fit the crankshaft. There were two bearings in the kit but neither one would fit. One fit the crankshaft but not the pilot shaft on the tranny and the other fit the tranny but not the crank. I started digging around in my drawer of extra parts and etc and found a few different pilot bearings (brass old style) and found one that fit the tranny and the crankshaft perfectly!! I wish now that I would have took that one to town and matched that bearing up so I could get a few extras in case I run into this again. But as always I wasn't thinking that far ahead and installed the bearing in and the clutch and dropped the engine back into place. just wondered if anybody else has ran into this before.
