Clutch AGAIN- Is it the master or slave?

91 2.5L, lost clutch pressure on the way back to the office today. I replaced the slave last summer, hoping it's not that again.

Is there a way to tell if the Master Cylinder is bad, rather than the slave?

Is your fluid level really low?
If yes if it's leaking from the bell housing it's the slave.
If it's running down the inside of the firewall by you foot it's the master.
If the fluid level is full then it's your master.

Apologies for the delayed response, been incommunicado/out of town all weekend and haven't had a chance to further diagnose the issue.

What do you guys think... Is it worth dropping $50 on a new master, replacing it over lunch today and see if that fixes it???

At first I was going to give you a bad time about your response. After looking at your profile I am now saying in a manner of the good old days.

Can you imagine a couple kids playing Cops and Robbers or Cowboys and Indians with REAL cap guns in todays world ? They would star on the evening news. So sad...........
