I just went with www.gripforce.com for an Exedy Clutch and new flywheel. Parts fit great and working like new. I shopped around a bit, seemed like the best deal. Good luck.

i cant remember exactly how much but it was more then $100 but less then $150 and that includes the slave and aliment tool.
to be honest i dont know if its a good clutch or not i just own a jeep and a few wrenches. i replaced mine about 6 months ago and been wheeling the piss out of it and it still works fine. anyways if it does crap out just bring it back and get a new one for free thats why i like autozone. |

That '2.5' denotes the 2.5L 4-cylinder engine. Make sure it's your engine and you're golden. Edit: I just realized you said AX-15 in your first post, which was the tranny specifically for the 4.2 and 4.0 6-cylinder engines, so no, that is not the clutch for you.

Know the difference between a carburetor and fuel injection? If you have a carburetor, it's more than likely the 4.2L inline 6. If you have fuel injectors it's a 4.0L inline 6 (which is better for efficiency and power). Next is transmission. If you have the 4.0L fuel injected motor, it is ery likely the Aisin AX-15 tranny. If you have the 4.2L carburated motor, then you may have one of two of the following trannies. There is a clear difference between what the two possibilities of the tranny you have are: the Aisin AX-15 or Peugot BA-10/5. I'm sure the trannies are marked if you get close enough, as the model is casted into the aluminum casings, I just cannot remember what it says and where exactly they are located. Your best bet is to look up the pics on google and look for similar matching characteristics. Chances are that if it is still running well, it's the Aixin AX-15. Chrysler ditched the Peugot BA-10/5 for a reason.
