Clicking Noise in Neutral Without Clutch Pressed

There is a click/scrape noise coming from the transmission area of the jeep when it idles in neutral. As soon as I push in the clutch pedal it stops. Upon letting the clutch pedal back the click...click...clicking continues. Most of the threads I've read say it is the throwout bearing. But I can't find on any sites a throwout bearing for a 1990 2.5L. Am I missing something?

How quickly does your clutch ingage? Does it ingage all of the sudden? How far off the floor is it when it engages?

I would say fairly quick. 2 or 3 in. And it never seems to be pressed enough for 2nd. Always a little extra force needed.

Sounds like your throw out bearing to me.... Once you get it in gear and start to let the clutch out does it engage quickly?

Yes I'd say so. I figured it was the throwout bearing, but I can't find a site with one for an ax-5 older than 94. Is there a different part?

The bearing and slave cylinder assembly is $148 at O'reilly and the Bearing alone is $24 for a Sachs bearing.
