Nice JOB!
I have access to a CJ front clip as well,i've been contemplating doing the swap when i tear it down to paint and do a V8 conversion, the way yours and others looks,i think i'm getting convinced to do it....

If you got the cj hood and grill on and wanted tube fenders, would you use cj tube fenders or yj tube fenders? Would there be any problems with putting pre cut tube fenders on this conversion?

Its vinyl, some tribal flames. Mostly for my young son although I kinda wanted em too. I was never too happy with my body work on the hood so have another hood in the backyard for a some-day project - hope to give painting my own flames a try.

with a 1" body lift a cj radiator will not fit on this conversion. my yj radiator finally broke and the cj radiator i bought wont fit due to the steering box. it doesnt seat comletely down. back to the store to get a yj radiator.

I am wanting to removed the radiator shroud from a CJ Grille-
there doesnt seem to be any bolts or clips that can be undone-

any clue how to separate them other than a hammer?

I only need the Grille- not the shroud- suggestions appreciated!
