chevy 350 and th350 tans swap?

hey jeep folks im sure i will get bashed by the hard core jeepers

im thinking of swapping a 350 v8 and th350 or th400 trans and .......gulp....ditching the transfer case and going 2wd to allow for longet driveshaft to lift higher and make a large street jeep poser jeep trailer queen whatever they call it now a days

im an ex hardcore jeeper now it only sees concrete....

feel free to bash me to look tough in front of other members ha ha

also and legit advice other than "sell your jeep" would be appriciated

thanks!!
