ill check it out. i guess i should ask another question. im not building my jeep to be a super rock crawler or anything. its mainly to drive around town but take up to the mountains as well because i do alot of camping and fishing and i want to be able to take it up some trails if i feel like it. im looking for at least 4in. of lift. should i go with a new lift kit or should i go to a spring over axle conversion? im new to this so if you have an opinion on the 2 please explain. thanks

FYI, Black Mountain out of Texas is a Rough Country lift resold by them. Sounds like that may not be what you want, but for $400 it beat the heck out of my worn out stock suspension.

Bob Supplee is great for BDS stuff. DC4WD is great for rubicon express stuff.

I've had good prices and awesome service from a guy named Eric Wirkus who owns something called knowehere2jeep.com out east. The stuff gets drop shipped from suppliers or supplier warehouses, so if he can find it in stock at a supplier you'll get it; he does not have to stock most of what he sells you.

http://www.knowwhere2jeep.com/catalog/

If you don't find it on his site, call him or email him with what you want and he'll get you a price. He's also hooked up with some OEM supplier out of GA where you can get OE Jeep parts that have not made it into the Daimler system from the actual OE suppliers, saving you a TON of money - but I guess you seasoned Jeepers already know about that whole process eh?

I got my lift kit, locker, air pump, mirrors, and misc. fuel system parts through him and shopped his prices - no-one could beat them.

HTH from a Jeep newbie in CO. Oh and Eric is a YJ man BTW. His personal ride is a heavily modified YJ.

As far as DC4WD.. In order to get prices you have to call him up or send him a PM on this site.

I would also check with Bob Surplee for BDS stuff. He was very nice when I checked with him last year. But I ended up going with DC4WD because he is somewhat local so I saved on shipping..
