I have a bracket bent up that mounts it on the floor in front of the shifter. Seems to work good. I have the antenna mounted back inside the tire stop.

I put my antenna in the same spot. I also thought about putting the cb on the floor but it doesn't seem like there is enough room. plus the heater vents come out in the middle.

You can kind of see where mine hides in this pic. Worked great for me until it rained. Now I need a new cb.

haha. ya water was also another reason I didn't want to put it too low on the floor. I don't plan on having that much water in the cab but sometimes, **** happens.

Yep, i have a photo of the exact moment it no longer worked.

There was nearly 4" of water in the tub. Thank goodness it's rhino lined.

nice!! I need to rhino line mine too. its a larger cb so it won't fit in the ashtray spot. I guess I could try to mount it below the stereo but I think it will stick out far........

Just an observation here. I don't know why but seeing carpet in any Jeep to me just doesn't look right. First thing I did was get rid of it when I got my 93

I did the same thing. I made a bracket to move the ash tray over and it came out pretty good. It was a lot of work that most people never even notice.
