Hmm. Interesting. When I replaced mine last year I had to stretch the heck out of it to get the screw holes to line up. You could bounce a quarter off mine.

When I replaced mine last summer I had a hell of a time aligning the windshield. Now the seal is leaking badly again.

I am having similar issues with mine. Replaced last summer, and in the fall it started leaking at the hinges and somewhere behind the firewall. Turns out my frame is so rusted it isn't a wonder that I don't just carry soap with me. My fix? Replacing the windshield frame this weekend.
