catalytic converter removal

OK so I understand your probably not suppose to do it but.....theoretically speaking if one was to remove it from a 1993 yj with the 2.5cyl with efi would it present a problem with the computer? I have had several people state that theoretically speaking it would make it run better.

No, it will have no affect on performance. Plus, it's illegal.
