Second look at the mount shows that the rebar/trans mount is connected to the cat, not the front pipe. Removing the connection to the exhaust header would allow me to slip it out, however besides that there is no support for the front pipe. I guess I could take both pieces out so I can work outside of the vehicle on this (most likely that is what I will do).

I'm opting to replace the front pipe with a new Walker one. I think the process of removing the cat is going to be impossible w/out cutting. This will be going in as an upgrade/replacement.
