i thought mudders would help get you out of 2 foot snow better then at's but would have less traction

In deep snow the muds will do better than AT's but on roads with just a bit of snow the at's will do better because their treads have sipes in them to channel water out and have more edges to bite into the snow.

the snow symbol gives traction about 10x better then the no snow symbol....
kind of like red jeeps give you better gass millege then blue jeeps, and yellow jeeps let you never get stuck.....

get the snow symbol and a yellow jeep, you'll be all set....

Hello Fellow Londonite

Hey

I noticed your nickname. You are from London I am guessing? I am too. I have a 4.2litre in mint condition. Perhaps we can go mudding sometime and you can get used to your 4x4. I have found that to be the best way to get better in the snow. Go get yourself stuck with a friend who has a winch. After a couple trips through some rough spots, you will be good with the snow. Put her in 4x4 and climb over some snowbanks in a safe spot or in your laneway is always good too.
In the snow, normally the trick is keeping your tires from slipping, so if you are driving standard. Practice rolling over feathering the clutch so that you can roll over snowbanks without spinning the tires. Once you can do that you should be comfortable in anything Canada can throw at you. Including our lovely little storm we had last week.

P.S. You will be amazed at what a good set of Snow tires will do for your traction.
