Bought my jeep a couple months ago and I'm trying to get my checklist together for my future soa lift. Can you tell me if this is an aftermarket cv driveshaft? Maybe a sye too? Thanks guys!

Yes aftermarket, factory rear DS was a slip yolk with a u-joint on both ends.

All about that unibody life.

Yes SYE is on there and it looks like a cherokee front drive shaft that has been cut down,. Still good to go.

Is it necessary? Do you have a transfer case drop in there too? Looks like an awfully obtuse angle.

Yep, that's a CV shaft.

It also looks like it's pretty well extended and there's not much spline engaged at ride height. My guess is it'd be too short for an SOA.

Also, cut off those low hanging screws before somebody gets hurt.

Trust me the body lift is going once I get my soa on. I bought the jeep with the body lift installed and it has 33s on it so if I were to take them off now, I wouldn't be able to drive. Thanks for the advice guys! Looking forward to posting a build thread once I get my 8.8 and perches
