Can anyone here help me install a 3 inch lift in my YJ ( Im in anaheim )

Hi forum members....

I'm new here, so please let me apologize in advance, if i posted this in a incorrect section.

basically, what i would like to do is remove the 1 inch body lift from my jeep yj ( it was already installed when i bought the jeep ) and install a 3 inch suspension lift. Im hoping this would give me a nicer ride, and look better as well. currently the tires on my jeep are 32x11.5*15.

what i am hoping is to meet someone here who has all the tools neccessary. i am glad to pay you for your time, of course. we could lift the jeep at my place ( anaheim near the 91 and 57 ) or i could come to you / your place.

here's a link to my jeep , so you can take a look if your interested....

also, in case anyone is interested in a xbox 360...i have one that has been played about 10 or so times, so it's pretty much in new condition. I would be willing to trade it for your help, once i am sure that you know what your doing and could teach me a thing or two

thanks!

I would say do the lift but also keep the 1" body lift. 1" body lift is perfect..just a little extra something and not going to stress out things

X2 on keeping the body lift. it will give you a nice look and will give you the option on running a little bigger tires down the road. i vote keep the BL

eh, 3" of lift will be plenty. Body lift makes it look crappy! although a 1" aint so bad!

well i am in oak view ca and i have been a mechanic for 17 years in the navy, i put the superlift on my jeep and have also put the injectors in my 2007 dodge diesel. if you are able to come up here i have all the tools to do the job on nov 14 or 15 which is sat or sunday, because my wife works and have to watch the little one. Nice jeep too.

I can help you. Send me a PM with your phone number and we can arrange a Saturday to get it done. As some of the guys stated probably fine keeping the body lift and getting a 2.5" lift kit.

PS, instead of the xbox360 I'll take a box of 36 Budweisers.

Please refer to my build thread for my shadetree mechanic qualifications.

Hijack! haha. It's very hard to turn that down, LA is a bit of a drive though, I would need to ask for a little bit of gas money. Let me know when you want to do it and I can help you out as well.

You should start hanging out in the Wheeling Neighborhood section of the board.

Lots of stuff happening there.

full?

that's weird since i just signed up, with this new ID. thx for letting me know though.

im so excited about lifing my jeep, that im having a tough time working. ( i keep jumping on this site and looking at all the different jeep pics ).

after the lift, i think im gonna do LED tailights and rock sliders.

does anyone know anyone on this forum that can make a good, strong pair of rock sliders, like are on sebastains jeep, for a decent price?

thx everyone,
