Calling all 95 YJs

I am doing the disconnect elimination in the dana 30 and I need to know the correct seal for the right side of the diff. I am thinking it is seal number 11771. Just need to know if that is correct from someone that has done it.

I cannot tell you the number but when you go to buy the part make sure that the seal they are giving you is differant than the opposite side. Sounds stupid but I had the problem with the auto parts store trying to tell me that both side are the same seal.

so when you do the elimination does it also eliminate the actual vac housing or would you have to weld a plate too the axle tube?

Yes it does. I bought the actual kit from alloy usa and it came with a plate. You could fab one and just drill holes to bolt it to the axle or weld it if you love to weld. But yes the whole vac it gone.

Now I have two different numbers for the seal I have 11771 and the one that Joe has above. I guess I will just buy both and which ever one doesn't fit I will take back.

I have been recommending that part number to folks asking the same question as you for probably ~10 years.

I have never had anybody say it hasn't worked.

However, there are more than just that part number that'll work - but I know 11800 is GTG.

I just checked my stats (seriously) I have recommended that PN 681 times with no complaints.
