C-clips

ok, i have a couple spare d35 shafts...i don't have c-clips though...i'm told that c-clips rarely break...it will usually be the shaft itself...is this true? have you guys broken c clips? where can i get a couple c-clips?

Shafts are what breaks when something lets go...
I've trail swapped numerous D35 axles shafts on the trail. Never had a c-clip issue.
Never seen a c-clip break.... yet.

If I understand this correctly and you are looking for just the clips then check at Qtec or 4wd.com they have pretty good axle breakdowns of all the parts and replacements. As far as strength is concerned I havent got enough experience to vouch for them being stronger or not.
