I think my list of "to do's" just got added to !
I like the hood huggers, but, as PA inspection goes the tires have to be covered.

If it's not broke- modify it, so it won't break

As long as you have tires here in fl you're legal.

Ordered the 3" hood lines the other day. Should be here Wednesday. I have a question to those of you who have installed these. Is this a job you can do start to finish in one day? Seems like you need to test fit them before painting them and you need to have the old fenders cut up already to mock em up. I use my jeep as a daily driver and I'd really rather not have her out of commission if at all possible. I'm planning on using a rattle can self etching primer then using rattle can duplicolor bed liner. Would i end up screwing up the finish too bad if I painted it before mock up?

Sounds good. Pretty much what I'm planning on doing. I wasn't sure if you have to trim

Mine are due to arrive tomorrow. I got the 3" flare DIY kit so it's going to take me some time to get them installed.

Mine's not a DD so it won't be too much of a problem. I'm going to use Monsta Liner on them.

I'm planning on doing a good write up on the install. Can't wait to see how yours turn out.

The instructions are pretty straight forward. There is some trimming for good fit.. I used some stainless rivits to mate some of the original fender to the new where they overlapped and along the inner wheel well

I bought the DIY kit. Glad I did, it allowed me to tweak them ever so slightly. I don't mind having a table for front flares, they look awesome. I fabbed up tabs and used 1" LED lights from a truck stop as side blinkers. For the price, DIY aspect, and they're made in 'Merica, I was sold. Did the same as mentioned, under carriage paint for the inside. Painted the whole Heep O.D. Green while I was at it. Great investment.
