Bumpstop trouble

Getting ready to measure for bumpstops, and I'm having a hard time finding an adjustable or long enough bumpstop to use. Really don't want to use the style that bolts under the ubolts on the axle. Was thinking maybe using TJ style bumps and just drilling a new hole and tapping it. At least I'll be able to make sure the stop hits the axle center.

This picture sucks but I moved my Daystar extended bumps forward about 1.25" or so. When my springs compressed it didn't come close to hitting the axle tube. I drilled and tapped for a 5/16"-18 TPI bolt.

Here is a picture of the bumps sucking.

Are the bump stops even necessary? I have one missing and I was considering taking the others off. I don't run the sway or track bars either.

I removed my front and rear track bars, sway bar, and bump stops the only problem is that the tires rub bad when your flexing out. I'd like to try the TJ style myself to stop the rubbing.

Bumpstops will be neccesary. The tires touch tje fenders at full stuff now. And im about to take off a 3in body lift. I saw the daystar stops but didnt know if they would be long enough.

The daystar bump stops are good for a 3 to 4 inch lift.
