ok so i think they are called bump stops. i checked quadratec and that is wut they were referred to as. anyway, they are these rubber bumpers that are bolted onto the frame above the axles. well, two of mine have rotted off and all that is left if the metal. my question is wut is the best kind to get to replace them or is there really any better kind. also are there different sizes or are they standard. thanks in advance for any replies.

If you are going to replace them you can go with stock rubber, better poly bump stops (kinda pricey, but will last longer) and then Rancho makes some extra long stops for use with a lift (there are a set of these now on ebay pretty cheap)

Mine fell off and I hav'nt bothered replacing them. That's probably why my rear springs are tweaked behind the main eye?!
You will have to go to the dealership to get replacements.

4wd hardware has the rubber ones for 12.95, and quatratec only offers the poly in a set of 4 for 100.00

Leave those off anyway they only stop you from flexing out completly. You just have to watch what size tire you run as they will flex up into your fenders. I used to have 35" Boggers and they bent my fenders abit, but honestly I really didn't care.
By looking at your "Huge" Signature you will not have to worry about that running 31"'s

No, do not leave them off. They stop your springs from going into a negative arch that will shorten their life span. Also by stopping one sides up travel you increase the other's down travel by forcing it down. They are needed.....unless you like crazy flex and short leaf life.

Took mine off long ago almost 2 years. They are still in use by another friend that got them off me. Nothing wrong with them yet and are still in action.

The bumpstops? or your springs? are still in action? My rear springs are sagging now, and I have bumpstops to limit the negative arch, but they are old and worn out. No spring will last forever and eventually sags.

I'm running 4" BDS Military Wraps. I am just in the process of doing a SOA hopefully the years of abuse will be in my favour for keeping the height down a bit.
