building off stock rollbar, question about stock seatbelt mount

what should i do about the stock seatbelt mount? im not going to be needing it anymore because im mounting 5 point harness, should i grind it down? put the bolt back in it? thoughts?



The P.O.S: 91 wrangler locked on 33s
Daily Driver/tow rig: 01 F150

I think it all depends on how much it bugs you. If you don't care leave, But I would cut it grind it and fill it with weld then grind it some more so you would never know it was there. what design are you going with on your cage?

would that make it weak? i was think about something like that but didnt want to make the b piller weak, i went with the A to Z fab. front cage it

it wouldn't be any weaker than the fact that tube already has a hole in it. It's only a half inch hole so you shouldn't over heat anything enought to compromise strength.

I would throw a stainless bolt in it and leave it.
